Mario Botto Micca
Mario Botto Micca is a seasoned executive and consultant with over forty years of experience in the industrial sector. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin and has held top-level management positions in operations and general management across multinational corporations and SMEs, working in key industries such as automotive, manufacturing, and aerospace. He has also served on numerous boards of directors, contributing to the governance of diverse and complex organizations.
Alongside his executive career, he has provided strategic consulting services, offering companies his managerial insight and leadership expertise. In recent years, he has focused on sustainability, completing two advanced training programs: one at the University of Turin on social reporting and impact assessment—earning certification as a social impact evaluator—and another at the Polytechnic University of Milan on benefit corporations and B Corp certification.
Since February 2023, he has been the president of Impact Gate, a network of three companies that supports SMEs in their transition toward integrated sustainability, benefit corporation status, and B Corp certification. He currently continues to provide managerial consulting to small and medium-sized enterprises.
He is an active board member of three organizations: the Turin Philharmonic Orchestra, SocialFare Impresa Sociale Srl (focused on social impact innovation), and SocialFare Seed, an investment company for startups. Since 2020, he has also coordinated the Turin chapter of Manager No Profit, a volunteer association that supports third-sector organizations with managerial challenges.
