Gianluigi Delforno

Gianluigi Delforno began his professional journey in the field of education, following his studies in electronics. He taught at technical high schools in Northern Italy, including IPSIA in Cuneo and ITIS in Mondovì.

In 1979, he entered the mineral water industry, building a solid career across both Italian enterprises and global corporations such as Perrier and Nestlé.

In 1999, he was appointed Plant Director of San Bernardo’s two production facilities in the Tanaro Valley. In this capacity, he was responsible for the full scope of operations—including health and safety, corporate security, labor relations, human resources, production, logistics, spring water resource management, maintenance, and administration—acting as the legally designated Employer under Italian labor law.

In recognition of his distinguished career and contribution to industry, he was awarded the honorary title Maestro del Lavoro in 2019.

Although now retired, Mr. Delforno remains actively involved with San Bernardo S.p.A., serving as a Board Member and Company Executive.
